Mediterranean Cruise

April 2004 & November 2010

In 2003 we began our cruise tour of the Mediterranean in Rome, Italy. The nearest port is Civitavecchia, about twenty miles away. We spent two days touring Rome before boarding a bus that will take us from the city of Rome to our floating hotel -- the Star Princess.

The cities you see on this map are the stops we made, while on the cruise, starting with Rome and ending in Venice. Click on the links for a photo journey of the cities of the Mediterranean.

During the Thanksgiving week we returned to the Mediterranean for another cruise with a couple of different ports of call. The primary purpose was to see the pyramids in Egypt. While in Greece we decided to visit Ephesus as we were not able to on our cruise in 2004 because of the restraint of time. The map above shows our route and the stops we made.
